Design, save, and explore coffee blends. Follow this step-by-step guide to create your first blend in RoastSource.
From the main menu, tap Coffee Blending. This is where you design, save, and explore coffee blends — from simple two-origin house blends to complex espresso recipes.
You'll see organized tabs: My Blends (your creations), plus curated collections — Espresso Blends, Cold Brew Blends, Low Acid Blends, blends by Brew Method, Top Coffee Shops, Top Roasters, World Blends, and personality-matched blends. Tap “Create Blend” to start from scratch.
Give your blend a name and optional description. Select a target roast profile — from Light (Cinnamon) through Dark (French). If you know the total weight you're blending, enter it here for automatic component weight calculations.
Build your blend from your inventory. Tap any available coffee to add it as a component. Each component shows the bean name, country, and remaining weight. Add as many origins as your blend needs.
Dial in the blend ratio by entering percentages for each component. The running total updates in real time — green when it hits 100%, amber when it doesn't. If you entered a total weight, you'll see each component's weight in both pounds and grams.
